Only One Way to Heaven?
Is Jesus Christ the Only Means to Reach God?
Boyet Olave, Ph.D.
Olave presents a straightforward case for the uniqueness of the Christian claim
to salvation (entrance to heaven) and approach to God. Heavily referenced to
Scripture, this article also appeals to common knowledge and compares major
religions to the claims of Christianity in some detail. A good basic guide to
this controversial yet essential claim of Christianity—of Christ
Himself—as the only way to God.

Defending Christ today can still get you killed. The battle between Christianity and Islam is an ancient apologetic battlefield strewn with blood both literal and spiritual. A series of articles concerning Atheism, Morality, and God Atheist - Michael Martin “Atheism,
Christian Theism, and Rape” During my discussions with skeptics usually the topic quickly becomes
focused away from things such as intelligent design, toward questions about
morality and God's nature. Copan demonstrates that theism succeeds in dealing with questions of the source of morality, whereas atheism fails. He clearly shows that while both may indeed know morals and behave morally, only theism can successfully explain the "ought" behind the fact of actual morality. There is a huge philosophical difference between simply the one who "is" moral (for whatever reason), and one who knows he "ought" to be moral! |

Tangled in the Worst of the Web -- Christine Gardner, Christianity Today 2/26/01 Since you got here by way of the web, and you very likely are involved with some form of Christian mission -- BEWARE -- we are all subject to this tempation. This is not apologetics, but if our lives do not match our message, our apologetic is hollow. The best apologetic for Christ is to live in his footsteps. |
