Rocks - when they lived?
Was the age of the dinos of any use to us?What happened to that entire ecosystem?
Sun’s energy helps animals and plants live - years ago and today.
When the plants and animals died years ago, they were covered by rock, mud and water.
Over the years, pressure on the dead plants and animals turned them into fossil fuels-oil, coal and natural gas.
Oil is a thick brownish-black liquid found under land and water.
Natural Gas can be found by itself or with oil. It is invisible and has no smell or color.
Coal can be found deep in the ground or near the surface. It looks like rough, black rock.
Energy from the sun is stored in fossil fuels. We get this energy by burning them.
We use the fuel from the dinosaur age for many things.
People are very curious about what might have happened to all the dinos.
Let’s see how many different ideas we can come up with to explain their death.
We don’t know yet! Maybe you’ll become a paleontologist some day and help us find the answer.
Remember: Separate the real evidence from the interpretation or conclusions drawn by someone!
We must separate fact from interpretation when we study the scripture, too.
What does Gen. 1 say about:
Christians are subject to confusing fact and interpretation, too.
Are dinosaurs mentioned in Job?
We know dinosaurs are not mentioned in Genesis and there is no certain reference to them in God’s written word.
God’s World Tells Us Dinos existed. God’s Word doesn’t tell us when or how. How does all this fit together?
Your friend just won first place in the Science Fair. You want to know how long it took him to do it.
You believe all three.
Can you help them explain?
Can you see ways to fit everyone’s statements together??
God’s World Tells Us Dinos Existed. God’s Word doesn’t tell us when or how. How do you fit all this together?
No matter how many theories you can think of -----
It’s like a big puzzle.
What do Dinos tell us about God?
