Dr. Keith Coward
Design of Heart and Eye
 Page updated 15 December 1999

(click on pics for a larger version)

Dr. Coward discusses the design of the heart and illustrates that with a dissection of a cow's heart.
(No, it isn't gross at all!)

Students also study the design of the eye.
In the upper elementary grades students dissect a sheep's eye, which is very similar to that of a human.
(Dr. Coward's participation depends on his time availability for any given weekend.)
