Here's what we learned with our teacher, Jeff Brewer:

Friday night:
Introduction
Role-playing exercise designed to illustrate the difficulties in teaching an unbeliever about God.
Adaptation
Differences in Darwinism (macro-evolution, no supporting evidence)
and Adaptation (micro-evolution, much supporting evidence) are examined.
Exercises and experiments designed to illustrate the source of similarities are performed.
Fossils
The actual fossil record is examined and shown to support creation.
Deceptive techniques utilized by those who deny the existence of God are exposed.
The night concludes with the students making “fossils” (casts and models).

Saturday morning:
Nature of God
The story of “Flatland” and an electromagnetism experiment are used
to illustrate how we can understand a great deal about God’s nature.
The revealing of Jesus to us is shown to be the best source for learning about God’s nature.
Time and Dinosaurs
Hard data is introduced that show that dinosaurs existed.
Discussions follow on “When?” and “Why?”.
A natural progression often leads to a discussion on the age of the earth.
Multiple viewpoints are presented with an emphasis placed on
the lack of dependence of any particular viewpoint with a sound faith in God or His Word.
Origins
The evidence dealing with the origin of the universe is examined
and shown to support a caused beginning.
  An explosive “beginning” is illustrated.
A mathematical exercise follows that looks at the probability
for the beginning of life to have happened by chance processes.
The student is confronted with the impossible odds for this to happen by chance.
A computer simulation is performed to illustrate this point.

Saturday afternoon:
Design
The patterns and designs we see in nature are used to illustrate
the existence of an intelligent, loving Designer.
A laboratory experiment involving the dissection of a pig’s heart
is performed to illustrate the extraordinary complexity of everything that is in nature.
An additional experiment is performed that uses a microscope to
uncover the secret to a bird’s flight.
Again, the complexity and beauty of nature is observed.
The Bible: Its Authenticity
The difference between authenticity and inspiration is addressed.
The physical process of how we got the Bible today is discussed
     (original autographs, manuscripts, translations, etc.).
The evidences for the authenticity of the Bible are presented,
which are shown to far exceed the level of verification we might require
for other ancient writings (Aristotle, Plate, Shakespeare, etc.).

Sunday morning:
The Bible: Its Inspiration (Bible class)
The definition of inspiration is discussed.
Evidences for the inspiration of the Bible are discussed.
They include Bible Design and Fulfilled Prophecy.
Specific examples of fulfilled prophecy are discussed.
An exercise using only the Messianic prophecies is conducted that
calculates the probability that these events can happen “by chance”.
The answer the students derive is  “They can’t”!
The Bible: Its Inspiration (Worship service)
The sermon focuses on the scientific and historical accuracy of the Bible.
Each student is given a handout that follows the sermon outline that
they are to complete as the sermon progresses.
The lesson shows the Bible’s accuracy with regards to history,
physical science, medical science, and the events in Genesis 1 and 2.

Sunday afternoon:
The Resurrection
The students assemble in the adult class for this discussion. The evidence
of the NT documents, first century life, Roman crucifixion, death, and burial are
presented. Dr. Coward describes the physical aspects of crucifixion. The evidence
of the empty tomb and the subsequent history of the disciples and church is considered.
A choice is presented. Jesus was either the Lord, a Liar, or a Lunatic.
The hearer is responsible to respond to the evidence as he is convicted in his own mind.
