A Better Proposition:
Since brother Jenkins' proposition is so vague
that anyone on either
side of this controversy could affirm it, I would
suggest the following
improvements. Simply
"literal," "twenty-four hour,"
and "consecutive," to the proposition,
so that it reads as follows:
"The Bible teaches that in six,
literal, 24 hour, consecutive days the Lord made the
heavens and the earth, the sea
and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day."
